Bristlecone Pine Is Quite Long-Lived.

Bristlecone Pine (Pinus aristata) can live for several centuries in the wild, although in cultivated landscapes, these trees typically live a little less than 100 years. With prickly cones and blue-green needles, this North American native tree grows slowly but surely. It does best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil; note that it can reach heights of 30 ft. or higher, so be sure to give it plenty of space to mature. Bristlecone Pine is hardy in Zones 3 – 8.
