Coral Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) features long, tubular flowers that bloom in bunches and create a fan effect. Colorful and unique, this native plant (don’t confuse it for the invasive L. japonica!) attracts hummingbirds and is also a larval host plant for butterflies and moths. Blooms last from spring into summer and are then replaced by small, bird-friendly berries. Coral Honeysuckle is hardy in Zones 4 – 9.
