Inkberry Can Handle Acidic Soil.

Looking for a pretty shrub that can handle acidic soil? Inkberry (Ilex glabra) is a great choice. It offers pretty green foliage that’s dotted with green-white flowers in summer and jet-black berries in winter (as long as the plant is female and fertilized). A member of the Holly family, it thrives in acidic soil, but can also handle most other soil conditions, making it a very versatile option. Inkberry is hardy in Zones 4 – 9.
